Participated in advisory committees including the Per Cent for Art program
from the Harold Washington Library Center and the Museum of Contemporary Art's
exhibition "Chicago Art 1945 - 1995".

Has participated as panelist / judge with the Mid Atlantic Foundation,
the Illinois Arts Council, The Michigan Arts Council, Reviewing panelist
for the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs to panel discussions such as
"The Visual Arts: Who are the Gatekeepers?" at the Chicago Cultural Center.

Has lectured through the Midwest on Méxican muralists, painters, printmakers, traditions
and popular art and culture. Lectures include: Méxican American Murals in Chicago,
Taller de Gráfica Popular, Méxican Mural Renaissance, Posada and his Graphic Works,
México's Printmaking Renaissance, Chicano Artists in the US, Self Help Graphics Artists,
Alfredo Zalce, Day of the Dead Celebration, Muralists: Rivera-Orozco-Siqueiros
and Méxican Popular Art.

For a decade he trained docents from the Mexican Fine Arts Center Museum to give tours
of in-house and traveling exhibitions. Trained docents from the Terra Museum to give tours
of the Latino traveling art exhibition; ADIVINA!

Galeria Ink Works, an alternative arts gallery in the Pilsen/Chicago community (1984 - 1987),
the Mexican Printmaking Workshop, a non-for-profit artists' collaborative (1990 - 1995).
